Chapada dos Veadeiros
It is 1,200 meters above sea level, located in the State of Goiás, 230 km from Brasilia, the Capital of Brazil. The places to stay are Alto Paraíso de Goiás with 5,500 inhabitants and the village of São Jorge, the closest to the park. It has hotels and inns, ecotourism agencies and local guides. It is recommended the use of own vehicle and the accompaniment of local guides, being that the tourist points are of easy access. Also, tours through agency can be an option for more rustic rides.
It is plated with the most beautiful and abundant waterfalls, such as the 120 m jump of the Rio Preto located in the National Park of Chapada. The cerrado, the typical vegetation of the region, is green and the soil is encrusted with crystals, being a fantastic energy deposit. The city of Alto Paraíso de Goiás is marked by its mystical climate, housing several alternative societies and an excellent base for ufology studies.
